What is type 2 diabetes?
This is an auto immune disease, a disorder in the
pancreas wherein it does not produce enough insulin to control the sugar level
in the blood or cells are not capable of utilizing the insulin that is available
in the body.
Why does one get diabetic?
High stress level, obesity, metabolic syndrome, sleep
irregularity, junk food habit, no physical exercises, use of tobacco, smoking
and excess alcohol are some of the major reasons that accelerate the onset of
diabetes.
What a type 2 diabetic should do?
Once you know you are diabetic, you should ask the
question ‘what have I done to address
(reverse or cure) this situation? If you feel nothing seriously has been done,
then take a decision now.
If you want to prepare the body to fight against
diabetes, you should avoid bakery products, fast foods, aerated drinks, fried
foods, spicy and rich foods, puddings, ice creams etc. You should also stop
smoking and alcohol consumption, control your stress, and maintain good habits.
70-80% food should be fruits and vegetables, cereals & pulses. 15% should
be protein and only 5% should be fats. Water intake should be 2-3 litres per
day.
Most important thing to address diabetes is rigorous
exercise and minimum 7 hours of sleep.
A couple of years back I was reading an Ayurveda book
about diabetes. They mention that diabetes is a kapha-dosha related issue. It
should be addressed with rigorous physical work. They actually recommend work
like cutting firewood or digging a well. Today, in a city environment you
cannot do this but by studying the postures while doing the above mentioned
work, we have developed a unique and revolutionary protocol that can address
the diabetic condition and the complications that may arise due to this. This
protocol is called EBBE Therapy.
EBBE Therapy is an integrated approach
with Yogic science, Acupuncture, Micro Dieting Techniques and usage of
Medicinal herbs. The Yogic exercise module stimulates Marma points in the body.
This will result in the switching on of the insulin producing beta cells, take
a control of the release of glycogen from the liver and controlling of glucose
absorption from the small intestine. Remember, every food is finally converted
into glucose and stored as glycogen in the liver. In fact large amounts of
glucose are also stored in the core muscles to help in gross and fine motor
activity. That is why any type of exercise can be used to reduce the sugar
level in the blood.
There are specific points in the chest
muscles, abdomen muscles, trapezial muscles and erector muscles in the back.
These points get stimulation while practicing EBBE Therapy module. Apart from
this, in chronic conditions i.e.people taking insulin on a daily basis, we
provide extra support of advanced Acupuncture sessions. Acupuncture can give a better impact and
stimulation to the Marma points very quickly. We will also advice correct food
habits as per their body prakruti and other lifestyle modifications.
- Drastic improvement in energy levels.
- Overall health improvement
- Sound sleep
- Weight in control
- Better anxiety and anger management
- Better immunity levels
- Enhanced muscular efficiency
- Increased digestive power
Above all, they observe their sugar
level readings are lowered and steady through the day.
In fact, our observations of over a period
of 5 years, shows that border-line
patients who have regularly been practicing this module and following the other
lifestyle modifications, have been able to reverse their condition
successfully. In the case of patients taking insulin, the fasting and post-prandial
blood sugar readings are steady at the lower level,
So EBBE Therapy is:
- Scientifically correct
- Intellectually sound
- Technically perfect
- Tactfully integrated
This therapy can be used as a
complementary system, along with Ayurveda medicines or Allopathic medications.
What
are the complications that can arise in future, if diabetes is not controlled?
- Heart diseases
- Eye complications
- Nerve damages
- Foot problems
- Kidney diseases
- Skin complications
- Dental issues
Now latest studies say that diabetics
are three times more prone to contract TB. Reports predict that in
2050, about 50% of the world population will be diabetic, if adequate
preventive methods are not practiced from an early age.
People who have been on medications
for a long time now ask ‘what has medicine done for management of my diabetes?’ I ask you “what steps have you taken to prevent or manage
your diabetic condition? If you have taken the decision to find a real,
long term solution to address diabetes, think of EBBE Therapy.
